All courses start at 1000hrs and finish at 1600hrs.

If you need to arrive late or finish early, please make us aware in advance so that the instructors are aware of your movements.

Food & Drink

Please note: You do not need to bring any food with you on this course.

During this course we will be eating a range of food which can be sourced out in the wild. You will prepare and cook Wild Meat, wild plants & possibly some insects! You do not have to eat anything you do not want to but we do encourage all participants to try something new! Military rations will be available for those with dietary requirements.

*DISCLAIMER* Some of what we do involves culling of wild animals. This comes with strict permission from the land owner. You will be asked at the beginning of the course if this is something you want to take part in, just watch, or not be involved in at all. You will be given an opportunity to speak to the instructors following that if you do not feel comfortable talking in front of the group. You will also be asked the same set of questions before the activity.

Please feel free to bring along any snacks – our instructors are very fond of chocolate! but do remember, the more you bring, the heavier your kit!

By the very nature of the courses taught there is some necessity for remoteness. Therefore a taxi may be required for the final leg of your journey if you are not travelling by road. For those travelling by road, we offer free on-site parking. All courses are camp based, don’t worry this is not a boot camp, there are no long hikes or mountains to climb we want you to have fun and learn.

Safety & Insurance

All activities in the outdoors come with inherent risks, some of which unavoidable. All of our courses begin with a full orientation and safety brief and all participants will be asked for a positive response before beginning the course.

All our events fully risk assessed (can be obtained upon request by email) and are covered by public liability insurance up to £10m. All of our instructors are highly trained professionals and each have a minimum of DBS certificate and are all first aid qualified.
